I just wanted to say that NACA helped my brother save $300 per month on his mortgage. However, CHASE is one of the hardest bank to work with!!! My aunt had a hard time with them! They are not as willing to work with people...I guess they'd rather have the house sit empty, pay taxes and insurance while it's vacant. Talk about greed and stupidity! Finally, after being behind 4 months, they reduced the int. rate. B.O.A worked with me over the phone, it was a piece of cake getting my interest rate down to 1.8% for 2 years! HUGE HELP! Thank you Bank of America!
Tracy: Each State has a program to help with your electric bill. Contact your local Children and Family Center and they will guide you. I just got my mom help, one program pays up to $600 of your past due amount. You have to bring a past due bill, your ID and S.S Card. It was very easy!

I did hear of a site, but it is only for people on dissability. they don't charge a fee and they do conect you with a work a home program... If you know of anyone on dissability looking for extra income? Let me know if you hear of anything, ok?

Have ANY of you wonder the same? Our Govt spends Billions of Dollars "helping" other Countries. I ask my self, why not take care of our own first? Once we have taking care of ALL the homeless in this great Nation, then help other nations. IS IT ME?
Perfect example, I just read that Obama promised HAMAS (a terrorist Org.) $400 Million Dollars.....WHY? These people are on the terrorist list, they have said they would like to wipe out Israel. Why would our tax dollars be spent on this group? How do we know they won't use the money to buy more weapons? Is it me?
How many people can we help with $400 Million Dollars? OUR GOVT IS SCREWED UP BIG TIME! We shouldn't have ANY homeless in this Country! We should help them get back on their feet. All the money our Govt gives away to other Nations,(BILLIONS $$ a year) we could put everyone in a home! If they would stop sending international help for 2-5 years, none of you would be homeless!!!! And that's all I have to say about that!

HI: Sorry to hear about your knees, I can relate! I had surgery on one of them, and they told me by the time I am 50-55 I will need both of them replaced! This company is a non profit co. that helps people on disability find extra income by working from home! They pay around $9.00 an hour and they'll give you around 20 hours a week. You have to fill out forms, and do like an interview over the phone to see what areas you may be good at(like typing, phone and customer service skills)...Good Luck, I hope you'll be able to find some extra income!

I am sorry about your situation!! I took my Mom yesterday to get help for her electric bill, they have grants to help pay up to $600 per season (summer/winter). The bad thing about it? You have to bring proof of your income (unemployment letter) S.S Card and Photo ID. You must show that your eletric bill is past due. I don't think they will help you for your cell phone, but they should be able to help you with your water/electric bill.....I had to make a few phone calls, and two trips to the agency but they granted my mom $450 (the past due amount) of her electric bill... OMG: I just read your post after I posted my bitching about charities, it's weird we feel the same way, hum? It must be true!(about Charities)
When I am in a position to donate again, I will find an individual who needs help, and give them my donation! As a property manager I rented to a few charity's "president" or CEO's and I was shocked to find out their salaries plus their benefits. I thought people at the charities were volunteers, it blew me away! The same thing goes to church, I helped with an audit 2 years ago for a huge Christian Church, and again, I saw so much money being wasted in trips, new cars, etc. it made me so mad, I haven't really donated to our Church since....a few Dollars here and there but nothing to brag about. I am sorry, but I have lost faith in these Churches.....
I see so many sad stories on here, I wish I had the money to help some of you. Some people are in financial hardship b/c they are lazy and choose not to work, or get that 2nd job, but for those of you that are working but don't make enough, Or are having health issues, I feel for you! I was wondering if people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet are ware of this website? I am sure they could help some people! Like the lady asking for medical help, or the lady who needs her teeth fixed... I know they both donate to charity, but it seems to me that it would be better to help people on an individual basis, one on one. Some charities eat up most of the donations in administration expenses like payroll, employee benefits, rent, etc. think of how much more money would be available to help people if they didn't have the adm. expense. I don't know, I don't understand why these Billionaires aren't coming thru these Ads to help??? If I ever hit the lottery, I will remember this site!
P.S Mr. Gate/Buffet if you happen to be reading this Ad. My sick disabled parents are in desperate need of money to keep their house of 25 years, they worked hard their entire lives, but now in their mid 60's it is impossible for them to work with their health issues!
Yes the hot wax helps, but I think it can burn the skin of a 3 year old (their skin still too sensative)....The reason the wax works it b/c of the heat, I am wondering if wrapping her hands in a warm wet towel will help her???Poor thing! How is she doing? Life is not fair! :(
